Is the audio sent to Anthropic when using Claude mode?
No. Even with Claude mode enabled, audio transcription happens on-device with WhisperKit. Only your text question and small text excerpts from the transcript are sent to Claude. The audio file itself never leaves your device.
Can I edit the transcript if Whisper makes mistakes?
Yes. LocalRAG! includes a transcript editor (similar to the OCR text editor for images). You can correct misrecognized terms or speaker names; the edited transcript is re-indexed for better Q&A accuracy.
